The Business Case for Sustainability (BCFS) in Property Development (PD) Projects is a dataset of case studies aimed at demonstrating the commercial potential of developing more sustainable, higher-performing residential building projects. Developed as part of a research project, the BCFS enables property developers to better understand the benefits and impacts of including sustainability features in their projects. This episode features BCFS creator Tom Keel, who shares his story of how the OER came to be, the impact he has observed it having on learning, and how the experience has shaped his teaching practice.

Tom Keel is a Lecturer from the Department of Finance in Deakin Business School. Tom’s area of expertise is Property and Real Estate with particularly interest in urban development, sustainable construction, and city-liveability.
